Alistaira Toll was a powerful mage in Bastion, sent to kill Edmund and friends by John MacEachern.
She banished our heroes to a tropical island for quite some time until they found their way back (Lamassu?).
She died at the hands of Edmund and friends after an epic air battle above the farms of Bastion. She was close to death as she turned into a living gas at which point she was finished off by our intrepid heroes. It was this point that put a big target on the backs of our heroes.
