Vegard and crew encountered an aboleth while sailing from Tickle Bay to Sweetwater aboard The Swift. The creature was enourmous, even larger than the 70′ boat that the group was on. It dominated half the group and tried to convince them that it was friendly and that a nice swim was in order. Vegard almost went for a dip but snapped out of the spell when he realized that his fear of swimming surpassed the compulsion from the aboleth. Amy had to be subdued for hours while the monster tried to control her mind. Jensa wasn’t so fortunate and wound up jumping overboard to her new life aquatic. The creature was finally turned away when Vegard and Hans climbed into the crows nest and fired arrows into the aboleth’s eyes, all three of them.
