This huge magical beast resembles a bloated brown insect, its abdomen covered in hundreds of overlapping plates like scale mail. Its forelegs are enormous claws, and several sets of oversized mandibles protrude from under its yellow eyes. It’s young live on it’s person and are released when the brood keeper feels overly threatened, darkening the skies in a cloud of writhing serpentine creatures, their bodies borne aloft on shimmering wings.
